Crochet Pencil Scarf- National Teacher Appreciation Week
This upcoming week is National Teacher Appreciation Week! Do you have a teacher that you remember? I remember a few of mine. I had a great 6th Grade Teacher that helped spark my interest in teaching for a career. She would let me stay after school and help her grade papers. I loved to do this. I also had other great teachers. I had a great History Teacher my Junior year. He encouraged me to take an AP Class that year. Even though it was hard for me, it helped prepare me for college. Some teachers are so memorable. My kids have had some great teachers as well. I try to give a small gift to them and have my children write them a card. When I was teaching, this meant so much.
Anyways, I wanted to come up with a crochet pattern for people who may want to make a gift for their teacher or children’s teacher. This scarf is not hard or expensive to make. It really just uses half double crochets and single crochet. I wanted to pick bright colors for the pencil. So, I used yellow. I hope you enjoy and make this or something else fun to celebrate your teacher.
