Valentine’s Crochet Heart Banner- Free Pattern

Is it just me or does everyone else’s house look so empty now that the Christmas decorations have been put away? I was looking at my mantle and it just has to have something! So, I decided to create a Crochet Valentine’s Heart Banner to hang across it! If you saw my last post, I made some hearts for my Valentine’s Emoji Pillow. For this pattern, I just altered the hearts a little by adding a row on the outside of the heart with single crochets. This helped to make the hearts a little larger for the decoration. This is an easy project. The only thing is just count carefully when you do the single crochet rows around. A couple of wrong stitches can throw the whole thing off! So, let’s get to the pattern!

Tuck in all ends. I did do some blocking with my iron to make the hearts nice and flat.
